Just as you thought all the excitement surrounding sport and competition was over with the closing of the games in Beijing, you are just in time for one of the most interesting face-offs in history: \u00a0Apple versus Google.<\/p>\n

For those not with a geek or technical focus, Google has developed a mobile phone software system and it has been code named Android<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Very much like Google, they developed the system and then released it to the tech community with visions of fame and fortune in the form a of a contest for developers.<\/p>\n

With applications now written a very big thing happened on August 12. \u00a0HTC<\/a>, a major mobile phone handset maker received FCC approval for their latest device called The Dream. \u00a0Check out CNET’s article<\/a> covering the event.<\/p>\n

More significantly, this device will be carried by T-Mobile<\/a> thereby creating one of the more dramatic stand-offs in while: \u00a0Apple\/AT&T versus Google\/T-Mobile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
